Who knows what the weather will do this weekend, but there's loads of things to do this bank holiday in and around in Sudbury. Here are just five...
Come and listen to the Lightning Seeds, Terrorvision and many other bands in the grounds of Melford Hall, whilst trying out some of the brilliant local beers the area has to offer. A fantastic weekend for the whole family. Saturday 25th & 26th May
A day of music and family fun, held at the White Hart in Boxford. There will be open mike music during the morning, more music inside the pub throughout the evening and lots of things for the kids to do
From 24th - 26th May, Lavenham will be hosting its annual art festival. Pop up exhibition spaces, exhibitions in the Market Place, Open Studios and art projects to get involved in.
A brand new auction house has just opened in Clare. Viewing are Friday and Saturday morning. The auction takes place from 11am on Saturday. Whilst in Clare, why not pop into the lovely cafes for some homemade cake, visit the delightful independent shops and take a walk around Clare Country Park
Come bring your little ones and their teddies and join the River Stour Trust in their Boat Rides. Free boats for teddies and their owners, adults are £5. Admission is free to the event and the Granary Tea Room will be offering a simple “Teddy bear's Picnic”

Hello! I'm Penny from thebestof Sudbury, shouting about the best local businesses from Hadleigh through the Clare. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me knitting socks or tending to my 6 chickens
