Organisers have confirmed that Scott Bennett will return as MC at this year’s Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival (SICF) flagship gala show.
Loopfest, which takes place in Shrewsbury over the first May Bank Holiday weekend (01 to 03 May) and is one of the biggest music festivals of its kind in the UK, has announced its official charity partners for 2026.

Final preparations are underway for the Mayor of Shrewsbury’s Fizz & Canapés evening in The Dingle taking place on Friday 19th September, with members of Shropshire Youth Theatre completing weekly rehearsals ahead of a live performance in The Dingle later this month.
