Organisers have confirmed that Scott Bennett will return as MC at this year’s Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival (SICF) flagship gala show.

Loopfest, which takes place in Shrewsbury over the first May Bank Holiday weekend (01 to 03 May) and is one of the biggest music festivals of its kind in the UK, has announced its official charity partners for 2026.

Music legends Reef and Ash are set to rock a stage in The Quarry park in Shrewsbury next year as part of Loopfest, one of the biggest festivals of its kind in the UK.
Tickets are now on sale for the first in a run of touring shows in the town from the organisers of Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival.
Following a successful run over the summer Shropshire Drama Company will once again be performing two shows of John Godber’s comedy Bouncers this autumn.

The team at Shropshire Festivals are preparing for Shropshire Oktoberfest, which comes to Shrewsbury’s Quarry on October 3rd and 4th.

Final preparations are underway for the Mayor of Shrewsbury’s Fizz & Canapés evening in The Dingle taking place on Friday 19th September, with members of Shropshire Youth Theatre completing weekly rehearsals ahead of a live performance in The Dingle later this month.
