Huge thanks to Luke Morley and Lizzy Lee at Howdens. We were having a tricky time trying to find insurance using comparison sites. Luke sorted out a policy that was tailored to us and met all our needs, at a reasonable price, within hours. He was a pleasure to deal with and it was such a relief to talk to a human being. I recently took out Health Insurance for my family through Matthew Spiringhall at Howden Life & Health. Matthew was excellent throughout the process, clear in his explanation and answered all of the questions I had. I would recommend contatcting Howden (and Matthew specifically) if you are looking to take out any insurance policies.

We had contacted a number of companies looking for insurance for a non standard home insurance policy to no avail. However, Tinashe Blessing at Howden Insurance was not at all dismissive of our particular requirements. Tinashe listened carefully and took a great deal of time and effort over several days, involving many telephone calls and discussions, in order to secure a policy that met our needs. First class service - nice to speak to a local, customer friendly business. Always good on price and know you by name not just a number. Online comparison sites do not give you the small print and I have learnt that over the years some of my policies bought through these sites are probably not the right cover. Howden's qualify your needs and level of cover, reveal the small print and give huge peace of mind. Insurance isn't just a cost it's a necessary must have so by letting Howdens do the hard work gives me peace of mind.

I Used to use A Plan Insurance now Howden a few years back for both my van & business insurance, so I am in a sense revisiting the company.
Thus far I have found their staff helpful & reassuring when questioned or asked to explain the policy's details, It is good talking to a person who is both professional & human.
