I dealt with Stefi Gilliard over the phone to insure two vehicles. Stefi took me through the whole process and stayed on the line throughout which probably took 40 minutes. I couldn't get the vehicles insured with the company I have been with for many years, thankfully Howdens were able to get the classic cars insured immediately with a fair premium.
Thoroughly recommend Howden Insurance and the service I received from Stefi, nothing was too much trouble.

Knowledgeable staff member was able to ask for details about the sort of motor cover we needed this year and then tailor his search of their rates to find us the best combination of products to suit our requirements. We chose to have legal protection, Protected No Claims Bonuses and Breakdown cover as part of our package and switched back from paying monthly to paying annually this year all while paying slightly less this year than last as we are likely to be using the car a little less this year compared to last year. We know that Howden's can't always find us cheaper cover and have stayed with the same company for our house insurance but it's great to know we have checked much of the market before accepting the renewal quote. Thanks Howdens.

I have just renewed my House Contents and Buildings insurance, assisted by Lee from Howden Insurance. It is an annual job that I dislike doing because it is complex and important to get right. However Lee makes the job far easier and is professional and friendly and helpful.
He sends the initial renewal reminder and offers tools to help more accurately assess the amount of cover we need. I'm sure some of my questions may seem obvious to someone who deals with insurance all the time, but he always explains patiently and at a level that I can understand.
At the end of the day I feel I have got the best deal I can and that we are fully covered reliably for another year.

I must share the great experience i had getting my insurance sorted with Howdens Thatcham.( never usually a pleasure on any isurances.).
Firstly no constant promps press 1 then 4 then 3 and so on straight through to a human after 1 option selected.
Adam Wheeler was suberb in getting everything arranged, worked really hard to get me a great deal ( this wasnt a standard policy) and constantly kept me updated with the great progress he was making. He was very informative and relayed all the facts clearly and answered all my questions without putting me on hold to find the answers. He is a thorughly nice person who didnt make me feel like he was just following a script but was genuinly interested in helping ,10/10 Stars. Had to call this morning and spoke with Daniel who answered a quick question i had without delay. Great service. I hope that Howdens recognise the great work there team does and had the policy been the same or slightly higher than my previous renewal i would have probably chosen Howdens for the service i recieved. Hopefully they wont go AI because the human interaction will ensure customers like me will choose them over automated tech. Thanks again to Adam.

We had car accident in November 2015 went in to report after a couple of weeks Matthew Woodley took over case as other drivers insurance company were playing around took until now to get it sorted without matthew help would probably have took longer he is a credit to your insurance company once again Matthew thank you for all the help and hard work you have done over the last few months
