Very friendly, helpful, personal and efficient. I use Howden's Tooting branch for my home insurance and private health insurance. I'm confident that I get the right cover at a reasonable price. Went to the Kirkintilloch branch to report my claim, paperwork, hire car and garage repairs all sorted within 2 hours, hire car and my car uplift happening within 36 hours of my claim. Fantastic service, can't thank the claims team enough especially Christine boyle who did most of the work. I would recommend Howden insurance to anyone.

I spoke to a lovely polite, friendly young lady called Kate Reid today about insuring our touring caravan, I didnt know how to go about it but thanks to Kate's help I managed to sort this out and now my caravan is fully insured- it wasn't hard or painful at all- thanks Kate!

After a non fault accident I'd never made a claim before in all my 35 years of driving and Dan and staff at howden made everything clear from finding a reputable garage close to my home for repairs and arranging my hire vehicle so I could still work and not let my customers down. I have a T5 Transporter, I wanted to make sure I had the perfect cover for my van. Howdens were recommended so I called and spoke with Jack Pratley. He walked me through the process and made everything simple and easy to understand. A few pertinent questions and then just had to wait for a few minutes for the underwriters to make an offer.
I got everything I needed to cover me for a years worth of fun ahead. I would heartily recommend Jack and Howdens a great experience and company.

Catherine Smith was most helpful and friendly, it made the experience of organising house insurance relatively painless! I usually approach such events with a sinking feeling, that I would be a very long time speaking to a robotic sort of person but this was completely different. The bonus was that the premium was less than last year too. I will continue to use them and possibly for my next car insurance renewal which is with another company.

After many years of searching the U.K.for a professional, friendly and caring commercial insurance provider it turned out the best one was a 10 minute drive from my house.
To be blunt Wendy, Audrey and Penny (the star of the show) are nothing short of amazing. Although ownership has changed from family run to a large provider the above (to mention but 3) still make you feel valued when taking great care of fine details regarding your requirements & needs, whilst taking into account your plans for the future.
I can at times be a very demanding and sometimes very blunt customer. Once Wendy and the two Audrey's had introduced me to Penny the client welcoming party (she's a dug) I immediately felt calm and and valued.
I honestly cannot recommend the Mount Florida branch highly enough. Penny's appointment is a masterstroke for clients if who like me you suffer from chronic social anxiety.
If I could give 100 stars I would.
N.B. despite suffering from what seemed very obvious discomfort/pain Wendy insisted on my receiving top shelf service and customer care.
