I was pleased with the initial quote for the insurance of our campervan. Then, when I returned the call to agree to taking out the policy, the agent then started quoting a higher cost as there were several “add on” benefits that increased the policy price. This then took the price up to the same as other policies we had considered but dismissed due to the high cost.
The agent was happy to consider these elements and not add these, the price was only a few pounds less in the end for the same policy.
I do feel the additional elements of a policy should be up front and transparent at the initial quote. There should not be additional costs added once the quote has been considered and agreed upon!
The agents I dealt with were both polite and courteous and I am happy with the policy I do have with the company.
