Easily able to talk to a real person. A very personalised experience offering insurance products that few or non offer. They take time to explain the advantages and any limitations of cover so you are fully in the picture. Very friendly and professional staff. Comparable prices to budget insurance companies but they offer far better cover. Amy Bookham was able to find fantastic cover for my new VW T7 Ovean.

Kerry Cornwall was my agent and was very helpful in getting me a lower price than my Renewal.
She also managed to include Breakdown & Leagle protection and lower my Excess .

Contacted Howdens insurance company in Tooting to get house insurance. Spoke to Catherine smith at the Tooting branch as I have known Catherine for many years as she deals with several of my properties for house insurance. Catherine is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when dealing with my insurance. I highly recommend speaking with her to get you the best deal when it comes to house insurance. Having Just renewed my multi bike motorcycle insurance, I found the whole experience re-assuring, it may have taken a couple of re directions to get me through to Charlotte a specialist in this type of insurance, but that's to be expected from a general insurance broker. However once talking to Charlie it was same as dealing with my previous specialist broker, only friendly, more knowledgeable and none of the online automated uselessness I would receive with them where speaking to someone is the last thing they want you to do! So refreshing !!

I received an inflated car insurance renewal quote from my current insurer and decided to pop into Howdens in Solihull for advice. I dealt with Emma Stanton who was just so lovely and welcoming. It was almost the end of a very stressful day for me and Emma was like a breath of fresh air. She was so helpful, patient, professional, friendly and efficient and within a very short period of time had secured me a very competitive insurance plan, much less expensive than the quote I had received. Emma explained everything very carefully to me and I was delighted to accept. Emma is an absolute credit to Howdens and they are very lucky to employ her. I can't thank her enough for the care and respect she showed me, for her advice and reassurance but mostly for the hug she gave me when I left - it was just what I needed and put a smile on my heart. After frustrations trying to deal with on-line insurers, chatbots and message systems, it was a great relief to talk to real people about insurance. Prices are not much higher than the cheapest and it is much easier to interact with helpful staff and get exactly what you need. As long as Howden's keep their customer facing service they will be first in line for my business!
