I phoned to renew my car insurance a little early because i was going on holiday. The gentleman I dealt with was polite and quickly came back to me with a quote, which was cheaper than the previous year on a like for like basis. He went through the various options with me patiently and was a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent customer service, helpful and efficient. They explained the policy to me clearly and I was reassured that should I ever need to make a claim they would be there to help deal with the insurance company. The online portal which saves all your letters and documents is easy to use and helpful to have everything in one place!

The continuity of the insurance is very important however getting info on the (new provider ) took some time so I was driving around not aware as to who insure the vehicle.I repeatedly requested a hard copy of the documents to be sent me via the post and offered to pay any costs involved however none arrived so had to resort to using a public computer and printer in a public library in Scotland

Just renewed my vehicle insurance and had excellent overall service. Connecting by phone was prompt and the agent (David) was very good throughout the process, being knowledgeable, clear, efficient and friendly. The process was very good and comprehensive, covering all my questions and queries regarding the insurance and its renewal. I asked some further questions regarding other insurance and these were answered very quickly via email as I had requested. I considered the insurance quotation to be of good value, covering all I required for a classic military vehicle. Will definitely continue to use Howden, obviously with the caveat that they remain competitive and relevant. For this type of insurance, I would thoroughly recommend them.
