Happy with service.This was a policy renewal which I could have done online but had a couple of things I needed to change so had to contact. Service was good,staff friendly and professional but was on phone for 45 minutes? Which was unnecessary in my opinion for a renewal with a couple of changes.The chap went through everything from start to finish as if I was taking out a policy,completely unnecessary waste of time despite telling him I only wanted to remove one item from the policy and add another he didn’t seem to listen to that part and seemed to be following an algorithm.might be worth listening to what someone wants first before launching into “the speech”

It was my first time enquiring about building insurance and Pieter Boulton made my experience very pleasant..he was reasurring polite and a good sense of humour he made me feel at ease ..he did everything to help me get the best quote he explained everything and didnt rush me ..im pleased to say I took out my insurance with Howdens Bromsgrove due to Pieter..I was with APlan pre Howdens and never had or found a problem .thanks again Pieter .

Home renewal went ok but they failed to call me back as arranged regarding my car insurance which has now gone to someone else. I feel obliged to say this never happened in the A-Plan days and back then I could always speak to someone who knew us.

This was a transfer of buildings policy from your Newbury branch on its renewal date for a property in Bury (previously with Newbury branch historically). Ryan dealt with this transfer and renewal cheerfully and efficiently with only a small increase in premium .

Always friendly and helpful. Although they give "big company" service with access to all the insurance companies, they give small local company service. They dont make you feel like just another customer, but a valued customer. They find the best value deals and are always happy to check for alternatives. Highly recommended.
