We have used Hiwden Insurance for several years. last year when my husband was seriously ill and my spare time to "shop around" didn't exist a quick phone was all it took to sort several policies which follow each other. This year ( hes still on the mend) I did the same, so much easier and piece mind. Thank you.

Initially very good speaking with Karl and he kindly sent me by post the documents for me to read through. I had said to him when I had read through I would ring and renew. When I did ring I could not get through to Karl so had to speak to another of the team and although I had said I just wanted to pay, that person insisted on trying to go through all the details again. Even when I had explained that I had been through everything with Karl, they insisted on trying to ask the questions. What should have been a very quick experience became irritating. I was then asked who looked after my house insurance and was amazed that this did not show up on my records that Howden’s (Aplan) have been providing mine and my late husband’s insurances for at least 30 years.

I used Howden last year for the first time and The customer service was so good I have renewed this year too, for 3 reasons firstly I could actually ring and speak to an agent instead of everything being done online. Secondly I could get a hard copy of the policies and thirdly the staff were really helpful when I explained I was
