Renewed my car insurance with Howden earlier this month(I have been with Howden and their "predecessors" for many years - always had excellent service).The agent I spoke to was very efficient and helpful(Jenny Marshall).At the time of my call I did not have access to the hub so Jenny kindly sent through the new certificate and other documents to me by e mail.Insurance price always seems competitive and, importantly, hassle free renewal.

Actually speaking to a real person turns the clock back by offering you a real service. I could even have visited and sort the insurance out face to face. Evolutionary. Too many via chatbot or online only so it was a pleasure.

Howden dealt with my car renewal brilliantly and expertly - it was such a pleasure to talk to an actual human (Christina at the Tooting branch) who wanted to help, and went out of her way to make sure all the bases were covered, and that I'd have the best deal available to me. So much better, more pleasant (and cheaper) than any of the comparison sites.

I now insure both my car and my van with Howden. After bad experiences with high street names where everything seems to be done through Facebook and X these days it was great to have a proactive broker. It is a personal service where you can actually speak to somebody instead of waiting months and months (literally) for a response to emails, or simply not being able to speak to anyone on the phone at all.

I've been a client of Howden Insurance or its earlier configurations for several decades and I've stayed because I have always found the advice to be fair and the service to be reliable. The insurance industry can be tricky and frustrating but Howden keeps the stress to a minimum, which I appreciate. I have been looked after by Holly Witherington for the last few years and she definitely makes the process as easy as possible.
