I telephoned on 02 March 2026 to notify that I needed to update my insurance, as I was purchasing a new vehicle with collection on 04 March 2026. Because I was buying a larger vehicle - going from Corsa to MOKKA (Vauxhall), my broker needed to find me a new insurer and said broker - Harvey Martin at Howden telephoned me with the new information. He was an excellent representative of Howdens and most thorough and professional.

I have used Holdens for the last few years and they are always helpful and polite when you call them. Also. Understand if perhaps one year they cannot match another company for that years insurance they understand. I will always go back to them for a quote the following year. It is better to speak to a real person rather than trail the internet.

Insurance company had declined to renew insurance due to planned building work. Was good to be able to speak to someone in person to explain situation. And to have someone fill in all the million questions on the form. Advice, don’t plan building work when your renewal is due

Welcomed and quickly sorted my car insurance for a little less than I was previously quoted directly by the RAC although later the RAC came back with an even lower quote and then even later included breakdown cover. Why couldn’t the RAC have given me their best quote at first?
