Really appreciated the discussion with Julian regarding new Health insurance policy. Julian took care and time to review options from range of providers and we arrived at best solution for me. It took a lot of the effort off my shoulders with clear explanation throughout .I have recommended to friend who is now considering following similar path, thank you and very pleased with outcome.

Excellent service from Howdens Insurance. I have renewed my car insurance with Howdens for the second year running due to finding them the most competitive price wise. I went through all the details with Luca Vecchioni who was a delight to deal with. He explained everything very clearly and was very informative when answering any of my questions. I have used Howdens (formerly A-Plan) for many years because they consistently provide a friendly and professional service at price that is competitive with online providers. The staff in the Evesham office are a pleasure to deal with, and between them have many years of experience, which gives me confidence that they are getting me a good deal. It is so nice to deal with real human beings!

I rang Howden, by chance and almost in desperation having had to deal with motor (and other) insurances for several years on behalf of a vulnerable friend who could not handle on line dealing and was impatient and sometimes incoherent on the phone. Alison at their Epsom office was unbelievable, giving understanding and offering endless patience. She also arranged the cover needed and gave information and suggestions for adequate cover at an unbelievable price to include everything required. By our second call, to accept Howden's offer, my friend was actually speaking with Alison himself and, seemingly, feeling completely at home with her. How I wish I had discovered her years ago and saved myself so many problems, the latest and greatest being a total inability to speak to a human at my friend's existing insurer and finding their online help totally inadequate and useless with constant repetition of information leading nowhere.
A heartfelt vote of thanks to you Alison. I shall have no hesitation in recommending you and Howden to any worrying about today's problem of massive increases in premiums or inability to speak to a human.

First time I have used Howden's for home insurance. Very helpful & knowledgeable in finding an insurance that covered old standing subsidence, that was picked up on our home buyers survey report 32 years ago. We have never claimed for subsidence in all of that time, but our previous insurers were hiking up our premiums. So I phoned Howden Insurance & can honestly say that I should of done it years ago. Very helpful, patient & on the ball in replying to my phone calls & emails. Very impressed.
