In an age where companies make it immensely difficult to get past auto-responses, robots, and live chats to speak to a real person, and then often someone on the other side of the planet with limited knowledge, it was hugely helpful to get a real person straightaway who then helped with the form and any questions...all quickly and efficiently too.

You can do online and spend ages sorting things out yourself....or actually speak to someone, who will answer questions and isn't an autobot asking you to identify a traffic light..... all for a competitive price.

I had 3 cars on a multiple plan , one being a classic car with agreed value. Howden's and in particular, Marina Ortega at the Bournemouth office, understood my needs and carefully and calmly talked me through the options. Unbelievably, the 3 separate policies in total were 20% less than my previous multi-car policy with exactly the same terms. So good in fact when I purchased a company carbon my business, I went straight to Marina for the insurance.
