I am as excited for summer as anyone, I mean, who isn’t looking forward to enjoying warm and sunny weather for a change!? There is one minor problem – this is a British summer we are talking about and it is about as reliable as the local bus service. But don’t worry; I have you covered for when the weather refuses to make us happy!
I want to point you in the direction of Salford Arts Theatre, the ONLY independent theatre in our great city. This little hidden gem boasts a multitude of fantastic performances and shows that will have you cheering and applauding for an encore – the perfect way to shelter yourself from the unreliable summer.
Maybe you could check out the wonderful production that is “Modern Living” by the very talented Rowena Morena in Salford Arts Theatre’s Edinburgh Fringe Preview. You could even check out “Bouncers” by John Godber – there is a whole world of talent and creativity on show at Salford Arts Theatre that you just have to check it out for yourself.
My point is that, even if the weather (and summer in general) is poor then there is still plenty to do in Salford!
