Salford Arts and Crafts workshops

If you’re tired of the same day-to-day routine and looking for some new activities to try, the Best of Salford can help! We advertise tons of local events that are on offer regularly, and are fun enough to peel you away from the TV screen.

Chapel Street and Hope United Reformed Church host Ceramics and Pottery drop-in sessions each week on Thursday lunchtimes, where you can watch live demonstrations and even have a go at throwing clay!

Hot Bed Press also offer a vast range of arts and crafts workshops for those looking to try something new. Located on Cow Lane in Salford, this printmaker’s studio is offering the arty folk amongst you the opportunity to try everything from printscreening, monoprinting, dying, poster printing, zine making, etching and many more. Check out our events section for dates and prices for these short courses!

Additionally, on the forth Friday of every month Salford’s Lifecentre on Langworthy Road hosts ‘Salford Arts Cafe,’ where you can relax and enjoy art, music, poetry and comedy drama performances.

Make the most of your local area and have a change of scenery by trying something different, and maybe even learn some new artistic skills!
