Blackleach Country Park is holding a ‘Witches Walk’ running from 5-8pm on Halloween night, which will take you down dark paths to hunt for witches and gruesome ghouls. Ordsall Hall is also holding one of its well-known Ghost Hunts on the 29th, running from 9pm to the early hours. Guests will tour the house accompanied by a medium, and you can even have a look round on your own if you’re feeling brave!
The Lowry is also holding a selection of Halloween inspired events for your children to enjoy this coming week. On the 27th the Human Spider Wall will be up in the mall so you can see just what it feels like to be a spider, by climbing up the wall on all fours. On Tuesday’s the 30th the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Magic Show is in town throughout the day teaching magic, spells and lots more! And on the 31st is the Lowry’s Halloween Fun Day with all kinds of games and spooky fun to take part in.
