Eurovision
comes to Salford
at Islington Mill this weekend...

Islington Mill on Salford’s James Street, began life as a cotton mill, but nowadays is home to several artist studios, galleries and a club space. Known as one of Salford’s cultural and creative hubs, Islington Mill holds various exhibitions and events throughout the year, including both well-known annual shindigs, and other one-off innovative occasions.

This Saturday, the mill is holding its very own Eurovision party in honour of the yearly musical celebration. We are told to expect the best of past Eurovision hits playing into the night, live screening of the show’s grand finale, disco dancing, and wacky costumes. There will be scoreboards keeping track of the competition, and sweepstakes to get involved with! This is one of those rare occasions where it is acceptable to don a shiny wig and sequin catsuit, and engage in awful singing and dancing...

So why not indulge in a Jedward quiff or a Terry Wogan Baileys cocktail this Saturday night? Doors are open from 7:30pm and tickets are just £3!
