Hi Guys!

Us lot at Community Solutions have decided to provide you with our very own cleaning and DIY tips each week, to help make your life a little easier. This is our first time blogging so bear with us! This week’s tips are about removing pesky stains from kitchens and carpets, and another little pointer about wallpapering!

If you find you have persistent stains on a stainless steel cooker or elsewhere in your kitchen, what we find works best is to use a very strong toilet cleaner. Simply put a small amount on a cloth and rub gently to lift the mark! Similarly, if you have a stain on any household carpets, use a little cleaner on a cloth. However for carpets, be sure to dab instead of rubbing, as this will lift the dirt and prevent the cleaner from soaking into the carpet.

Our DIY tip of the week is regarding putting up wallpaper. If you run out of wallpaper paste whilst decorating, simply mix together flour and water, leave to settle for a while, then use it as you would paste!

I hope these tips have been helpful; be sure to look out for more each week!
