My grandfather was an ordained priest in 1936 at this Cathedral I would love to go and visit and bring the Bible that he had back home it would be amazing

Went for mass and to visit the gift shop. Shame only a few people were there for mass, but it was a weekday.

Excellent historical place to visit. Very friendly and helpful staff to. The artisanal ornate masonry is out of this world. Very well kept, and looking forward to going again.

Just stand outside and look at the quality of this Beautiful Cathedral....we couldn't build anything like this even in this day and age ....

Lichfield Cathedral is beautiful in all weathers! also had the chance to hear the choir practicing towards closing time which was so magical

Lovely holy place to visit with helpful staff. Lots of historical info if you want to read it and also areas to light a candle in memory of a loved one. Recommended

Beautiful building. Shame the guy at the entrance desk was rude because we wanted to put our donations in the candle boxes instead of paying an upfront donation by card. They say there is no entrance fee but they get upset if you don't part with your money the second you walk through the door. The guy actually pulled a face at us and stopped acknowledging us once we said we were putting our donations in the candle boxes. We also spent a substantial amount in the gift shop.

A local cathedral brimming with character, beautiful architecture, and plenty of history to explore (both ancient and contemporary), the latter of which was perhaps the main reason that compelled me to visit.
