I recently spent a day out in Lichfield with my mum after not having been for many years. I wanted to visit the cathedral as I remember it being extremely beautiful. Wow, this building is just truly breathtaking, the size, the architecture, the feeling of serenity & history once you are inside. We did a guided tour with a fabulous guide which was extremely informative and after had a walk around on our own. There was also a lovely local potters display in one area and we both came away with some gorgeous pieces along with some purchases from the cathedral shop. Definitely worthy of a visit.

Had a lovely time in the cathedral with an impromptu mini guided tour with Graham Barrows who was really entertaining and knowledgeable. Visited with my wife and enjoyed it very much

This cathedral is absolutely stunning 😍 we got luck to get on a Sunday Service and it was incredible experience for me and my husband. The staff were very hospitable and nice to each visitor.

My goodness. What a venue. I'm ashamed to live within an hour of here and not going before now. Breathtaking architecture and an amazing team of stewards ably assisting with everything. Stunning acoustics for services too

So nice the people in there are very helpful clean tidy to help people around. Ask questions when you talk to them very helpful wheelchair friendly all the time.

Visited last week for a classical music concert featuring ‘Lord of the Rings’ music.
An excellent way to spend an hour or two with some very talented young musicians hosting it.
The cathedral staff were very welcoming and friendly and all in all a great experience, the interior of the cathedral was lit up in a lovely way.
A building that has hosted people for generations over centuries continues to fulfil its purpose.

Interesting small Cathedral. The only one the uk with three spires. Rather spoilt by being used as an exhibihion space at the moment by a knitting exhibition which should be in municipal hall, and the total indifference of the staff to the points of interest within the building.

We have just done the Lichfield Cathedral roof tour 29/5/26 at 11am. Our young guide was excellent, so knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Would fully recommend

Beautiful cathedral , but I hate the introduction of staff on the door .I visited recently , expecting solace after losing my job .I was greeted by three staff asking for donations and trying to sell me a guide book .I had no spare money , so feeling embarrassed and humiliated, I left.I realise the cathedral has to make money , but this hard sell puts people , under undue pressure and is frankly , unchristian
