I have never been there but found that it was where my 7th Great Grandparents were married. Her name was Jane Doak Heitzelman and his name was Sir Thomas Brown. Date of marriage was 22 Nov 1689.

Lichfield Cathedral is a very beautiful, serene place to visit. The architecture is magnificent & the stained glass windows are truly amazing. It is steeped in history that spans hundreds of years.
It is free to enter but they do encourage a donation of your choosing if you so wish to do so.
There is also a small gift shop.
I would recommend visiting this place & have been a few times myself.

Had a really uplifting and engaging chat with Wendy at the gift shop today. I complimented the staff and volunteers on such a welcoming space offering such a diverse array of activities and experiences. I have attended concerts, markets, services, talks, tours, children's activities and more. After speaking with Wendy, I hope to get to the dementia friendly Christmas service this year. Well done All. So many people benefit and get immense enjoyment from this amazing space😁

Beautiful and free to visit like all religious places should be. I chose this place for the baptism of my daughter and myself as it is family friendly and welcoming.

Truly an amazing place, impressive from the very first glance.
The architectural details are absolutely overwhelming in the best way.
I had the opportunity to explore the gallery, which features designs of cathedrals from across the UK, adding even more value to the experience. There was so much to take in, I found myself captivated and almost unable to absorb it all.
A must visit for architecture and history enthusiasts .
