God's got a lot of houses to live in. Lichfield Cathedral is one of the better ones. There's enough room for her to sprawl and make herself completely at home, which, to be honest, is exactly where she is. Lots of windows of the stained glass variety. Statues of holy people all over the place. Stonework like you've never seen before, and loads of it. Want a spire? Lichfield will give you three. This is a truly remarkable structure!

An absolute colossus of a building stained glass windows are beautiful so much history in every nook and cranny
There was a service taking place 12.30-13.30 whilst we were there which added to the atmosphere
There are many stations for prayer and to light a candle too
Plus a shop of useful memorabilia we purchased a stained glass window for home to remind us of our wonderful visit aided by the tour guide

Definitely an experience not to miss. Wonderfully ornate, not just a fab day out, you can also join a service. Friendly staff, gift shop. If you don't want to book your, just turn up, £5.00 you can spend as much time as you like taking everything in. Well worth a visit.

Amazing service and very kind groomers! My dog usually gets nervous at grooming salons, but here he was totally relaxed. He looks beautiful and smells great. I’m really happy with the result.

A truly beautiful place to visit. We had a lovely stroll around the cathedral, taking in the stunning architecture and peaceful surroundings, coffee in hand. The cathedral itself is breathtaking, both inside and out, and the whole area feels calm, welcoming, and full of character.

The streets around are clean, safe, and perfect for a gentle walk, making it a really pleasant place to spend time. I’ve added some photos to show just how impressive and well kept it all is. A great spot to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

Popped into lichfield for a breakfast to break our journey up from Seaham back to Pontypridd as seeing my partners family for new year.
I'm a walsall boy originally, so knew what to expect when we went in as visited previously.
My partner was amazed with both the interior and exterior lots of history and memorials.
There was a service being conducted so we were restricted to the lower part, but all the same a great visit.

Lovely to peaceful place... I wanted to visit to light a candle for a recently passed relative and have a quiet moment but felt jumped on to make a donation to visit (which i would of done anyway and to see trees...i get the reason for donations but their approach came across as pushy) ... Staff seemed to pounce as you entered or approached which was offputting and not relaxing. Lovely catherdral and stained glass windows and thete was places to sit in the quiet.

Went to an evening musical event with over 800 present.
Well presented, drinks in the interval, toilets are across the road, sound system and extra screens for live links for people at the sides with pillars obstructing the stage view. So well organised including security.
