An excellent and lovely hotel. The food is excellent quality from the sandwiches served at the bar during lunch, to the full meals served on the restaurant in the evenings. They also have an extensive wine selection to match anything you might want. The room itself was spacious and had a lovely coffee maker. The beds was very comfy. Although the pillows are nice they were too soft for my taste. The spa and pool are fantastic, we spent a long time enjoying the large jacuzzi. Overall, we love coming to this hotel and will come back again in the future.

The food was fine, they were missing a few indmgridents for the set menu which came with the spa deal so that wasn't ideal. The spa was very basic, just a pool, sauna, steam room and massage facilities, no relaxation areas or other experiences. There was a big window from the pool into a corridor in the hotel which was a bit off putting. The spa lunch was also served in a corner of the main dining area so not comfortable to go to lunch in your robe. The pool must have also been open to all guests so got incredibly busy in the afternoon. Not the usual day spa package and experience I am used to, that being said it was clean and tidy and the massage was good.

Déco impressionnante pour un hôtel construit il n'y a pas si longtemps. L'impression de pénétrer dans un manoir. Espace water cool. Dîner correct. Et boire un bon whisky au coin du feu.

Feb 28th 2018 - I had a complimentary evening meal here with 6 others. It wasn't busy but maybe the freezing weather kept people indoors. Lovely ambience in all areas. None of us could find fault with any of it. I can personally recommend the tomato and basil soup - it was probably the best I've ever tasted. Also, the steaks were cooked to perfection and meal portions were generous and nicely presented. The waiter (should've asked for his name) was polite, attentive and courteous. I was so sure I'd remember the names of the Prosecco and red wine we had, but I don't. However, they were the nicest I'd had in a long while and it'll be worth going back for those alone. I would say the prices are typical for a hotel restaurant but given the quality of the food and service they are justified. I will definitely be eating here again and recommend that others try it too.

I'm having my wedding here in December Emma the wedding coordinator is amazing nothing is to much trouble and I have no doubt she will make my wedding all I've ever dreamed off.
