great hotel with brilliant Spa and fitness facilities; restaurant service can be disappointing, it seems that the hotel prefers to cater for external customers rather than residents.

Took the partner away for a weekend at this spa, booked in 3 different treatments, full body repair, facial and body scrub! I recommend all treatments as they was amazing !!
They have a lovely pool area which the room is so warm feels like abroad not too hot it's uncomfortable tho! Pool temperature is quite literally perfect lovely little Jacuzzi in the corner which has a timer onit 10mins on 5 mins off which keeps a rotation of people which I think is a good idea, sauna and steam room are clean and good temperatures, they do need to keep up on the floors I did notice it abit hairy at points of the day which i don't like but had sliders so solved that nicely.
They have a very nice a la cartè menu and according to their board in the restaurant their foods are sourced locally which is good.
They do have a gym itis the basics on strings but there is enough there to get you by even as a serious trainer, no benches for health and safety reasons..
I unfortunately didn't get any photos as left phone in the room all the time it was such a lovely relaxing time I didn't even think. My apologies

Amazing hotel Spa and restaurant. Can't fault the place. Even have awesome beers. Food is always lovely. One of my favourite hotels in the country.

Lovely friendly spa team and great classes for yoga and pilates. Very relaxing but recently pool could be warmer which is why not 5 stars

Not a great experience for our company Xmas dinner for staff and partners - uncooked vegetables, very slow service (20 minutes difference between serving different people on same table) and complaint yielded no response from the management - poor show all round. Casino evening was poorly run, drinks expensive and slow.

Good meeting facilities backed up by an incredible snack bar, including popcorn, biscuits, fruit and nuts, and more types of tea than I knew existed.

Stayed here for two nights. Had a signature room with a large sofa and bed. A bit dusty and could have done a better job at light & sound proofing the door... Massages were good but shorter than the 25 minutes stated (20 and 17 minutes according to the clock in the room). The restaurant usually offers a wide range of foods but at the time I went there was little vegetarian options (only 1 pasta meal for dinner, and no hashbrowns for breakfast). The spa facilities are great as everyone would say but small details make me feel like it could have been a better stay.
