For centuries, Hitchin has been known for its markets and excellent food producers.
Taste some of what's on offer these days on Saturday 19 November from 10am to 4pm in the Market Place.
If you fancy a tipple, there's also a Wine Festival in Church House from 11am to 6pm.
As usual for these events, there'll be food stalls offering delicious treats, plus stalls selling goodies which'll be perfect for Christmas gifts.
The events are organised by Hitchin Tilehouse Rotary Club and all proceeds go to their chosen charities.
Chefs from some of our local eateries will be demonstrating what they do every day and perhaps what you can try at home.
There'll be talks at the Wine Festival, for everyone who struggles to know what to drink with which food - and how to buy the best quality.
Take part in the food trail on the day to enter a prize draw to win a meal for two at Lussmans or a meal for two at Needham House with pre-dinner gin cocktails.
Entry to the Wine Festival is just £6.00, with re-entry possible if you want to pop back later. Buy your tickets here or from The Town Fryer in Hermitage Road or HRH Holmes in Churchyard.
