Nice zoo, very big. I believe I got 20k steps that day (10k at paradise wildlife park and 10k at the local river lee country park). It can get busy in some places such as the reptile place (which was hot). There are places for children to play. Overall a great day out

Have an annual pass we use all the time, kids love it. Went to Santa’s grotto today fair play to the elves and Santa it was the end of a cold wet day but they were all still really friendly and engaging. Included in your ticket so couldn’t ask for any more

We love this place. Lots of animals and the dinosaur park is great for the children to enjoy. Plenty of places to eat; and tables to eat your own packed lunch. We have the family membership, which is a good deal if you want to go for fleeting visits, etc...

Visited for the 'Dino's in the dark' event - well organised and a great evening out with the children! Kids and us adults loved the silent disco! Ticket prices and food prices are very reasonable.

Kids absolutely loved it! I have a 4, nearly 5 year old boy and a 19 month old girl, and they were over joyed!
We had the opportunity to go during the week on a Monday, very little amount of people around on this particular day, which gave us plenty of space and opportunity to see the animals multiple times and the food hall was very quite as was the train ride and the kids climbing frames.
It was fantastic to see the kids' faces as they gazed into the eyes of a lion at eye level, they was tad nervous at first but soon understood that they are unable to enter our area and we are safe 😅
I could write forever about each and every animal, but I will sum it up, very good day out, even with the very little people it took us all day to see the park (bare that in mind) , the kids loved to see the "meerkat" very funny little things, what the adults think of the animals pacing up and down the fencing we shall keep to ourselves , but it is very apparent and atvthe end of the day they are very well looked after.
Unfortunately, the "birds of paradise" were closed for our visit, which was a tad annoying but not much you can do.
The food was OK, it's what you expected when you ordered a "cheeseburger" from an establishment such as this. It was OK, and I would eat here again if I was here and had no pack lunch. The jacket potatoes were good, and my son had the hotdog, which he's described as "delicious" 🤷‍♂️🤣

All in, a great day out! We are looking forward to another visit!

Visited PWP today. Did the Red Panda experience, and it was amazing. The keeper we were with was professional and informative, making sure we were keeping both us and Tilley the red panda safe. There was a long wait for this as it is a very popular experience but it was so worth the wait! Me and my partner frequently visit this park and love to see how they are always expanding and are looking forward to the future of PWP

Been going here since I was a child, great day overall but the dinosaur section is a bit out of control. The dinosaur noises are unbearably loud and annoying and the poor animals in the woodland section (reindeer, deer, foxes, wolves) have to listen to that all day every day. If the zoo is interested in being ethical it should turn these sounds right down or carry out some other interventions to block the noise for the poor things.
