Great little zoo. Well laid out and good enclosures. Really lovely to see all the animals in a well thought out environment. Great for children with the dinosaur area too. If you are coming by train expect to pay about £10 each way for the taxi.

We have had the most wonderful day here today. We have not been to a zoo before where you get so close to so many animals - with only a glass screen between you and lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards etc. It was incredible. We even saw the red panda quite close up - all animals out and right before your eyes.
There is a lovely atmosphere, you can tell the zoo is family run, and my daughters even got to meet Cam and Tyler which I think has made their year.
The dinosaur park was also a lot of fun.
Thank you so much Hertfordshire Zoo for a family day to remember.

Had a brilliant experience feeding the meerkats. Shona and Jess were extremely knowledgeable and super friendly and made the experience even better. 10/10, would go again!

Nice for kids. I was a bit concerned for some of the animals, they were pacing and going around in circles 😟 the eats places aren't very fresh ,very limited menus. The smell of old cooking oil was overwhelming 😔 the place needs livening up and the outdated eats placed could do with some serious changes.

A wonderful place to visit any time of year. Easy free parking and plenty of access for non able bodied visitors. The added dinosaur adventure is included in the price and the Starbucks coffee with tumble jungle area is the perfect place to take a break while the kids play. During the summer months there is a splash pool area that is simply brilliant for the young kids and if it’s really hot, dipping your feet in to cool down. Value for money and plenty to do for a whole day out with the family

Loved it. A lovely family day out to blow the christmas cobwebs away. It's been quite a while since I last came, infact it was 2 children ago. We arrived early and went straight to the dinosaurs, this was lovely quiet walk around which we all enjoyed, are the dinosaurs motion sensored? Because it did seem like it. Which added to the experience, the family jumped in the car for the Jurassic pic. 😊 Then we hopped on the train, a little disappointed that this was extra, especially how much extra, being a family of 5, it's another cost on top of an already costly day out! Esp as its just a few minutes around the dinosaurs (which we had just seen) but children do love a train, and they know that! Be mindful that to get round to see the wolves, deer and foxes you have to pass all the play/park areas!! 😒 Luckily for us it was wet, very wet so was able to move on without too much drama. Then across the road to see the rest of the animals, with a small stop off at the big slides which are under cover, shoes have to be removed which I liked, no muddy bums!! The lions were all laying down right at the windows which was amazing to see. Managed to see everything within the day except the zebras faces, they just was face down behind the fences every time you walk past! 😆 Got a mocha from the sun bear bakery, wouldn't rate it much to be honestly, very watery, will try a different drink next time, or different place, the food looked nice but was almost empty by midday. The children saw a poster saying 90% off teddies in the shop, although the main shop was shut and the one we did visit did not have 90% off, so don't know what happened there. We will come back again but will leave it a while as it's a very expensive day out for us. But makes it more special when we do get to come.

Came here from Austria to visit Tilly the Red Panda. Unfortunately she wasn‘t in the mood to have visitors when we arrived. Tried it a little bit later but she was still sleeping. But we got to feed the Meerkats instead which was a great experience as well.

Staff was so friendly and Amanda told us everything about Tilly and Red Pandas in general.

The Zoo is really great to visit. BEST GROTTO EXPERIENCE! Thank you to the elves who chatted to my children whilst waiting and gave them a sticker, the wait wasn’t bad and considering it’s free I was surprised at how quickly we got through the queue. The Father Christmas was incredible- so patient and kind and it felt like he really listened to every word the children were saying and he gave really great responses. The children were chuffed with their grotto gifts.

We come to the park often in the year but this was the first time we came over Christmas and we will definitely be coming back again. Thank you

Oh how wonderful it was to finally visit this beautiful place 🥰 after watching it on telly for so long with the kids, we all had a wonderful day ❤️ so much to see and so much information provided about the animals! All the staff are happy to provide more information and happy to when asked questions by the children and you can tell they love their jobs 🥰 we were even more privileged when we met Cam and Taylor, who took the time with my children who spotted them and were very excited to met them. The children treated them like old friends and Taylor and Cam were wonderful, thank you so much 🥰

We had a fantastic time at the Paradise Wildlife Park. We were impressed not only by the array of animals, but how well looked after they were. In addition to this, the enclosures were spacious and well-constructed, offering not only different vantage points from different levels, but good vantage points. We went to three of the talks during the day and all of the staff delivering these did so with professionalism and an abundance of knowledge. They were happy to answer our questions after their talks as well. There were a couple of animals that we went to see where we got talking to keepers. Although not official 'talks' they were more than happy to provide us with information.

It was a day out that was pleasurable for two adults 70+, two adults 40+ and two children. We would definitely recommend and the park will only get better after the refurbishment and rebranding as Hertfordshire Zoo in 2024. We will be returning!

I took my daughter to PWP to meet the Lemurs experience today. What a wonderful day she had and this was her Christmas gift - she had such a lovely day.

All the staff were so friendly & helpful.
The food and drink was so good and great value - I am vegetarian and the choice was fab.

The animals were happy, well looked after and cared for. The enclosures were spacious and modern, there was plenty of enrichment.

Fantastic day out 10/10
