Love this place my daughter's favourite zoo. And favourite animals. Always greeted with smiles and helpful staff. Never fails me.

Pretty good considering it's a lot smaller than most zoos. Nice selection of animals, plenty of places for the humans to visit. You can do the whole place in 3~4 hours. Slightly disappointing exhibits for non-mammals, no aquarium and only a handful of snakes and reptiles.

Second time me and my partner visit this zoo I love it so much and the animals are so well taken care of!!!
I love the goats the most as I always pet them and the lion and tigers are so vocal🥹
The female tigers are so lovely

Visited yesterday and had the most amazing experience! Clean, organised, interesting and beautifully designed. Every member of staff we came across was lovely, friendly and looked happy to work there. A big plus for me is that you can see that the zoo is designed to respect the animals and that they do really care for their wellbeing. Overall very lovely experience, highly recommend to also attend the zoo talks they have throughout the day.

Nice day out for local area. Ticket prices reasonable. Good parking. Very friendly staff, all helpful and smiley. Lots of benches and tables available for eating and drinking. Plenty toilets which were clean. Shame we didn't get to see jaguar, tigers leopards and few other big cats, think they were hiding due to the hot weather. Overall a good day out.

This was an amazing place to visit. Last time we went was for a wolf experience during COVID. The park has certainly changed for the better since then. It is a wonderful place for children and adults. Everything is very well organised, well kept and clean. We were able to see all the animals clearly and you can tell they are well looked after. There is the dinosaur world for the children and it is very impressive. We would definitely recommend this zoo.

I've been visiting Hertfordshire Zoo, formerly known as Paradise Wildlife Park, for about seven years, and it's been incredible to witness its growth and transformation. A significant improvement for our family is the increased accessibility. The new ramps ensure everyone can enjoy all the animal viewing points, making it extremely pushchair and wheelchair-friendly.

The zoo is consistently clean and well-maintained, and the staff are always friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our recent experience at one of the summer nights events was fantastic. Despite the large crowds, the atmosphere was wonderful with great music and brilliant entertainment. There was something for all our children, ranging from eight months to 13 years old.

We visit often as this is such an accessible zoo. Our oldest son is a wheelchair user and sometimes misses out on activities with his siblings, but here he can access literally every area of the park. This makes Hertfordshire Zoo the perfect day out for our family. Despite the hour and 20-minute drive, we visit regularly.

Smaller compared to Whipsnade and other zoo we saw, but more facilities for kids with a stage for baby/kids dance, a splash park and a big playground. Lots of places to eat. We managed to see all animals, compared to the other zoos where usually they are inside their caves. Definitely worth to check out.
downside:
- the ice-cream van: the service was very slow even with just a couple of people waiting to be served.
- the noodle shop: chicken nuggets and fries were good, noodles were AWFUL, WORST NOODLES I HAD IN MY LIFE. 4 of us got noodles and we all left them

Absolutely amazing day. Everything was great, in great condition and very easy to get around. Was a hot day so not a lot of animals were out, but that's funny expected. We still had an amazing day out. The staff were incredible too, all very friendly and cheery, very well versed on the animals they're looking after and we even got to see one of the keeper snakes feed, such was an amazing sight to behold.

Great family day out. Lots for kids to do and not a mind melting experience for adults either.
Dinosaurs, lions, soft play, lovely!!

Will gladly be back again in the future.

The new Hertfordshire Zoo is a truly wonderful attraction.
It's evolved so much in the last few years with obvious huge investment into the park, facilities, theming and animals.
Every member of staff we met there were courteous and helpful.
The animals were beautiful and obviously well cared for and stimulated. The environment was well thought out and created a very natural experience while at the same time colourful and entertaining.
I've noted a few comments about food prices in the reviews. We actually made comment that we thought the food outlets were very reasonably priced and actually probably cheaper than a lot of similar attractions we've attended in the past.
If you've never been before it's a must. If you haven't been for a while like us... Go again and see what's changed, you'll be very pleasantly surprised!
.
Ps... The otters were adorable!
