Great little Zoo! One of the best kept we've been to & the animal enclosires are brilliantly designed with glass viewing and a couple with Cafes adjoining enabling you to sit and jave a coffee while looking through at the animals (Sun bears, tigers etc!). Will 100% be back

Gibbons, Indian lions, snow leopards, tigers, bears, etc. if you have little kids, there’s a lovely dinosaur trail. Everything well kept and clean. Food onsite. A place to visit. A bit on the expensive side, but worth a visit

All the animals were charming and very well mannered about the guests poking around their habitats. The tiger did a big wee in the pool. It was lovely.

Visited for free as we are members of Chester Zoo who have a reciprocal relationship for supporters.

Really enjoyed the dinosaurs which we didn’t know were there. The zoo itself is a nice size - not too big, but with plenty of great animals.

Good play zone too for the kids to run around in

Visited for my Son's birthday, he is a big fan of the 1,Zoo,3 show.
We arrived for opening, and noticed they had availability for the "Junior Zoo Keeper" experience. We bought the ticket and enjoyed a day walking around the zoo.
At 2pm we checked in for the experience and I mentioned that it was my son's birthday, and he was a big fan of the show. We received a goody bag and a signed photo of the Brothers. Then one of the Brothers, Aaron, came to meet us, and spent some time chatting with my son. Aaron is a genuinely lovely bloke, and I thought it was really kind of him to take time out of his busy schedule, to meet a fan.
We then met our Zoo keepers, Dave was our guide and Cris was supervising. Two very knowledgeable blokes, who made the experience informative and fun for us all. We cleaned the Tortoise enclosure, visited their new studio area, prepared a meal for the Meerkats then finished the afternoon feeding the Ring tailed Lemurs.
Well worth the ticket, fantastic Zoo, and every member of staff we met were fantastic.

Great zoo, loved the red panda experience, keeper was very friendly and informative in answering any questions I had. Loved getting to see the two red pandas being introduced to each other. Got good views of the animals, some of the viewing windows were quite wet with condensation which blocked views but not much to be done about that. Lots of kids so was quite noisy but think I came in the school holidays. Only negative was one of the jaguars was pacing around a lot in its enclosure, hopefully it was just waiting for food or something like that and not stressed. Got Uber easily to/from the train station. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Lovely place to spend a few hours. Nice staff and the dinosaurs always a hit. Sadly the soft play changing to u7 has meant we can no longer go as two of my children are a bit over the age. Feels very expensive for a small site and doesn’t cater much to the older kiddos.

My son had a lovely time here, the dino land is really great for children. I was concerned as to why there is only one tiger, just walking around on it own.. no company, also one jaguar that was pacing up and down the whole day in the same spot. We checked 4 times through the day and he was just pacing up and down, the animals (some of them) are just in the cage on their own 🥺 it’s so sad to see. Snow leopard too (I don’t agree with them being at zoos as they live in snow really) but he was also alone. I think the pacing in one spot all day is sign of boredom. If the animals had company it would be so much better. The big cats are also on the skinny side.

The zoo is reached by following a winding narrow road that is not in good condition but on arrival parking is very good. Access to the zoo is across the road. Expect queues fir entry. Once inside this is the dinosaur part and there are no signs to show you how to access the zoo part. I tried going back out and along the road towards car park but was turned away (rudely) by the man controlling the crossing saying he could only give access via the crossing as the road walk was too dangerous. Oh well. Walked back down the road and in and found my way to the zoo side. Lovely to have so many aerial viewing platforms to see the animals and the info boards were excellent. Keeper talks knowledgeable and entertaining. Toilet facilities very good.

I have to leave a 5 star review because this place was amazing. We took our two boys aged 6 and age 4 (4year old birthday) the dinosaur park was amazing the best I’ve ever seen. My boys loved every bit of it. The shop at the end was very reasonably priced my 4 year old had £30 spending money and he brought 3 mini dinosaurs and a teddy. The stage entertainment was brilliant. Donuts 5 stars. Lots of toilets around. The park was clean. The zoo was great we saw the penguins being fed and lions, tigers, bears all up close. Soft play was fun. The only negative I would say is the price to get in l, just over £100 to get in for 2 adults and 2 children. And the poor guy working in soft play on his own. He needed some help for sure. But that’s doesn’t lose a star because this place is just awesome and we will definitely return :)
