We really appreciated the hard work of all staff. Special thanks to Claudia and all the reception staff who always greeted us with a smile. The restaurant, maintenance and cleaning staff also worked yery hard to keep up standards. Buho restaurant fun, great cocktails in the rock garden and breakfast was spot on each morning. Popular with locals too, always a good sign.

The hotel was exceptional. All areas were clean and the room was cleaned well every day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, there was plenty of choice for breakfast. The hotel was 25 minute walk from St Peters Port downhill there, but I would advise using the regular bus service to get back. The location was superb, with a short steep walk down to beautiful beach. There was a cafe down there that was excellent too. Car park was small but I would advise dropping luggage off then parking at top of hill in Buho restaurant car park, this is one of the two hotel restaurants. Overall difficult to find any faults, it was a truly super hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel set in a tranquil, scenic location with great views from the outside dining area and rooms if your lucky enough to book one. You can also walk down the Lane or through the gardens to the beach where you will also find another great little eatery with milkshakes, coffees and beers available.
If your not a beach swimmer you can enjoy the complimentary indoor pool and spa facility's
The staff are excellent and happy to do anything for you, they even brought a large bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket with two glasses because the room wasn’t serviced the day before, we didn’t even know that the room was going to be serviced anyway.
They also provide a great free shuttle service to town and the airport and the driver Peter was just the friendliest guy (don’t forget to give him a little tip)
Lots of eating and drinking options inc the best steaks ever at the Rock garden
Wouldn’t think twice about staying here again
Thank you to all the staff for a great stay

I have enjoyed several holidays in Guernsey. This was my first stay at Fermain Valley Hotel. My adult daughter and I booked a last minute holiday so unfortunately a “gold” bedroom wasn’t available but our “silver”bedroom was spotlessly clean, comfortable and furnished with style.

The views from the hotel terrace across the wooded valley towards the sea are stunning. Nonetheless, it was the hotel team who made the holiday memorable, the receptionists, restaurant staff, porters and management were all dedicated to ensuring guests had an enjoyable holiday.

I would recommend booking in advance for the hotel restaurants as, not surprisingly, they are popular with guests and locals alike for the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. Meals from the restaurants are available from room service, most welcome after a long day sightseeing!

Can’t wait to return to this special hotel. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

A lovely stay with much splashing in the pool and some tasty meals at Buho and The Rock Garden. Only gripe is the patchy WiFi!

Stayed for 3 nights in Jul-21. We had a wonderful stay, it really is a beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly staff and two great restaurants. Our only criticisms are that the third restaurant (Greek) was closed making it difficult to get a table at the other two, and the promised complimentary airport shuttle wasn't available on our return. It's no problem getting the bus, but don't advertise a facility if you can't offer it.

A good stay made excellent by the very kind and helpful staff. Always happy to help especially Susie on reception and Samantha in the spa.
We loved the hot tub with the Treehouse room. Had a good meal in Buho: simple food and cocktails but tasty. Decent breakfasts and very sweet, friendly service there too.
The bay down the hill is great for swimming and the cafe there sells the worlds best (and most expensive!!) crab sandwich.
It’s a 25 minute walk down the hill into town. Easy to get taxis back. Best to book ahead for restaurants if you have a preference as the good ones fill up in season.

Very mixed experience. Delightful people, rather noisy, no aircon, good food but limited choice for dinner (Mexican or steak). Stay marred by stomach upsets for both of us on different occasions

Very quick check in, straight to the room with good views over the bay and you can see the other islands. Food very good and a well stocked bar. The swimming pool is small but a good workout as it was empty when I was their.
