Family stay for an event, hotel was great location and very accommodating with requests. We didn’t eat in the evening there but had a drink in the Rock Garden and it was great - highly recommend.

This is our second stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating, our sea view room was tastefully decorated and clean. We especially enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Rock Garden, I would highly recommend the Chateau Briand. The tea room is also well worth a visit. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely hotel set in the beautiful Fermain Valley, south of St Peter Port. Friendly professional staff. Excellent food. Well appointed, clean rooms. The pool and sauna were nice to have on a dreary wet February afternoon.
We stayed here for a winter staycation and loved it.

First of all the good things about this hotel. It is a clean friendly, airy and bright hotel with lovely food (Especially The Rock Garden) and also breakfast was tasty although a few things forgotten.
We stayed in the Tree House room and from what I heard, my expectations were high, however upon entering the room, it was dark and dull with walls which looked unfinished. The room only had one window/door which was at the front of the bed which gives you a lovely look out to the trees, however without the curtain pulled, you lose your view if you want privacy as the path to the other cabins is right outside the window door at the foot of the bed.
The shower was nice and powerful but water was only mildly luke warm.
What ruined the stay completely was the green spotlight next to the door which I presume was for the fire exit, which is the only exit anyway... The light was so bright it was hard to sleep, you could see everything in the room and was unable to cover it up with anything to get a good sleep. I would suggest either dimming this light if a requirement or completely removing it. If you are a light sleeper, it will bug you.

The highlight was the Jacuzzi, it was lovely, however it is shared between 4 cabins so you can't really relax when pressured by others wanting to get it.

We much prefer the actual hotel rooms and would probably book them again rather than the Tree top cabins.

Lovely, quaint hotel with a good selection of restaurants and their associated bars. We've stayed multiple times, most lately during the Covid era, and the hotel bar was unfortunately closed, so Buho was our only option. Still would recommend, as staff are helpful and work hard to make your stay a great one.
Higher tier rooms have great valley and sea views, and include a decanter of sherry!

Loved coming back to the Fermain Valley it really is such a special hotel and the staff make is. Such a warm welcome back after nearly 2 years due to Covid. View stunning amazing sunrises to wake to. I had a lovely room with a balcony (room 35) and it was glorious waking up to the view every morning. Beds beyond comfortable and room well stocked always with tea/ coffee / even sherry and apples and lovely little biscuits. The food at Buho and the Rock Garden and Ocean was wonderful. I loved the breakfasts and the staff were so fabulous can't thank you them enough. Lovely mini bus on hand to drop you in an out of St Peter Port. Thank you for all the ferrying around o kind. Fabulous walks down to the beach and cliff walks. I love this hotel and even a pool with a sauna to relax in in the evening. Hopefully back again 2022 wouldn't stay anywhere else actually.
