Boat taken up to Beaucette for lift out and pressure wash. I've given 5 stars because of the level ofservice. The entrance is a scary as always, even in a little boat, but one cannot change that.

Converted from a quarry in the 1960s this is full of houseboats. Why? Because when the housing control law was enacted the government forgot about Beaucette. You can't live on a boat in St Peter Port or St Sampsons harbours but you can in Beaucette. Its outside of the open and local housing market. A real anomaly.

Have enjoyed Beaucette on many occasions this year both for meals and just drinks on the decking overlooking the marina.<br>The latest outing was for an early evening meal and everything was cooked perfectly. Portion sizes just right, even with my eager criticism for skimping on fries!<br>Local folk should make the effort to head north more often.
