Here’s what going on in and around Farnham over the next couple of weeks, there really is something for everyone.

Farnham Heritage Open Days 2018  Heritage Open Days encourage local residents and visitors to experience local history, architecture and culture and our stunning green spaces, all free of charge. Enjoy guided walks and performances, free entrance to local places of interest and exhibitions and immerse yourself in our town’s wonderful heritage. The event will take place over two periods this year, 8-9 September and 13-16 September.

Friday 31 August

Xplorer  Explore Farnham park, find the markers, complete the challenge and have fun during the summer holidays with the kids.

Beano Science Workshop  Children’s activities at Farnham Library keep the children amused.

Saturday 1 September

Introduction to Indigo Dyeing  Why not learn a new hobby or enjoy a workshop with like-minded crafters?

Maltings Monthly Market  Over 200 stalls showcasing the best independent craftspeople, emerging designer makers, food producers and traders.

Sunday 2 September 

Farnham Music in the Meadow 2018  The last of the summer Sunday afternoons in  Gostrey Meadow with live music from Brass Monkeys.

Phyllis Tuckwell Plant Sale  Large variety of plants and shrubs for sale at bargain prices at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Farnham Town Walks  You are invited to join guided tours of Farnham and discover its hidden charms.

Monday 3 September

Quiz Night at The Fox  The Fox Inn will be hosting their Pub Quiz on the first Monday of every month.

Pie and Pint Club, Heath End  Are you a retired man living on your own?  If so, Farnham Assist invite you for a good chat and a tasty pub lunch.

Knit 'n' Natter  Do you enjoy knitting and good company? Bring your own knitting or knit for a local charity.

Wednesday 5 September

The Plough Jam Night  Meet fellow musicians, experiment and have fun at The Plough’s Wednesday Jam nights.

Heartstart Free Life Saving Courses In Farnham  Do you know what to do in an emergency? FREE life saving courses in Farnham.

Thursday 6 September

Aynsley Lister Solo  A night of live blues music with Boogaloo Promotions at the Farnham Maltings.

Friday 7 September 

Ninja Squirrels LIVE at The Plough Farnham  A great weekend of live music at one of Farnham's favourite music venues.

Saturday 8 September

Farnham Repair Café  Get those broken things fixed or volunteer to help repair.

Free Heritage Open Day at Waverley Abbey House  Free guided tours of the house will take place throughout the day and a history display will be available. The café will be open for delicious homemade food, cakes and refreshments.

Gnasher bookmark and Denis skateboard craft activity  Drop into Farnham Library to make your very own Gnasher bookmarks and Dennis skateboards. Tickets cost just £1.

Strangely Drawn Live At The Plough  This fun, talented band is guaranteed to get you up and dancing throughout the night!
