Wrecclesham
Situated on the southern fringes of Farnham, the traditional country pubs and annual village fair ensure Wrecclesham is a community spirited place to live. Its recreation ground caters for cricket, football, rugby and tennis and this is where Jonny Wilkinson and Graham Thorpe started careers in their professional sports.
The village is best known for its pottery and is home to one of the best preserved examples of a working Victorian country pottery left in England.
Rowledge
Rowledge borders the stunning Alice Holt Woodland and trails. The village has a strong sense of community with a wide variety of local societies, sports and regular social activities including the Rowledge Village Fayre, held each year on the village green.
It has been said… that Rowledge was once renowned for fights between local youths across the ditch that formed the Surrey and Hampshire border and in Victorian times, was known as "Roughditch" having a reputation of a generally lawless place!
