Rangers face a tough trip to in form Wadhurst United this week where the red and blacks hope to take something from the game. The two sides met at Old Town Rec in October when rangers fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2, with rangers unlucky not to take all three points in the dying minutes when Glen Noble hit the bar from six yards out. Since the reverse fixture, Wadhurst have dropped just seven points from ten league games which included a 3-1 defeat at Wittersham, a strange 1-1 draw at basement club Ninfield II and a narrow 1-0 defeat last week at the hands of league leaders (and rangers cup final opponents) Little Chelsea. Their seven league wins have seen them cast aside Herstmonceux (twice), Hawkhurst, Windsor (twice), Wittersham and Crowhurst.
Their current league record reads P14 W9 D2 L3 F35 A20 Pts29 and rangers will have to wary of Wadhurst top scorer John Penny who has notched up 11 league goals so far this campaign.
It's no doubt that rangers will have to be at their absolute best to secure a positive result from the game, and only with the right application will this be possible.
Let's give it our best fella's.
