Flipping pancakes is serious business at Haulaway this year as we are participating in the St Wilfrid’s Pancake Race on 13th February!
Our team will be heading down to Eastbourne Town Centre once again to compete against other local companies with the hope of becoming the champions of the pancake race!!!
Each team competes in a relay and must each flip their pancake 4 times without dropping it whilst sprinting down to one end of the course and then back again. Having come third last year the pressure is on to repeat the success of last year’s team and we are sure that the competition will be as tough as last year, if not tougher!

This flipping business is all in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne. Each team participating will aim to raise as much sponsorship as possible in a bid to help with the day to day costs of running the Hospice. Last year this event raised over £8,700 thanks to team sponsorship so it really is a worthy event for a very worthy cause.
