The Royal Hippodrome Theatre is delighted to present its biggest production of the year, the spectacular 2025 Christmas pantomime Sleeping Beauty, which is opens Friday 12th December and running until Sunday 4th January.

This year’s magical family adventure promises everything audiences love about a Hippodrome panto — side-splitting comedy, dazzling costumes, enchanting storytelling, fabulous music, and a cast overflowing with charisma, chaos and Christmas cheer.

A Classic Fairy Tale, Brought to Life

Sleeping Beauty tells the timeless tale of Princess Aurora, cursed by her wicked aunt Carabosse to prick her finger on an enchanted spinning wheel and sleep for 100 years. With the help of the radiant Spirit of Dreams, the lovable Jingles the Jester, and a host of colourful characters, the fight to break the spell unfolds in true panto fashion — full of mischief, mayhem, magic and heart.

Returning favourites Luke Roberts and Paul Leno-Putt once again lead the festive fun, bringing their signature energy and comedic brilliance to the Hippodrome stage.

The Royal Hippodrome’s pantomime is now known for being one of Eastbourne’s most popular festive traditions, drawing thousands of families each year. With its irresistible blend of humour, spectacle and seasonal sparkle, Sleeping Beauty is set to be the must-see Christmas event of 2025.
