Back by popular demand, Embrace presents another brilliant night of comedy in association with Oi Oi Comedy Club.
With less than a week to go (Saturday 21st Nov), get ready for another night of side splitting fun!!!
The evening is hosted once again by Oi Oi’s very own funny man, Jim Grant who has been making audiences laugh for over 10 years now. Jim has played many festivals, TV shows, clubs, weddings and even one funeral!!
Alongside Jim, we have 3 special acts lined up for for you:
For over a decade Dan’s accessible but childish surrealism has delighted audiences throughout the UK and Ireland. He’s also had his grammar corrected by Dutch and German crowds; performed for chubby sweating ex-pats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Thailand as well as being part of the sell-out Avalon Comedy Zones at the Edinburgh Fringe.
His writing credits include ‘The Eleven O’clock Show’, ‘Revolver’ and ‘Rory Bremner Who Else?’ to name but a few and also co-wrote sitcom ‘The House of Rooms’ with Milton Jones which aired recently.
‘Skilful and surreal’ – The Scotsman
‘Original and inventive’ – The Times
‘A favourite with audiences as well as with his notoriously hard-to-please comedic peers’ – The Guardian
Kevin is a blindingly funny visually impaired act. Veteran of several Edinburgh festivals, Kevin is a top comedian with over a decade of experience playing top comedy clubs, corporate events and festivals.
Jay has a simple view of the world, encompassing justice, hard work and the sheer preposterousness of everyday life. He terms his comedy as ‘Social Conscience Comedy’; observational, political and straight stand-up and will have you pondering the points he has made, long after the ample laughter he generates has died down.
Writing is a passion of Jay’s and he has written a sketch show that is currently being viewed by several TV companies and is also working on a feature length film script. He has appeared everywhere from tiny comedy clubs to large theatres, to Television and even around the world (France, Croatia, New York, LA).
In the little spare time he has, Jay teaches Stand-up comedy.
‘Amusing and Funny’ – Timeout Magazine
