It has now grown into a global movement which inspires people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. It is a chance for us all to think about the difference we want to make in our local communities and to take action to make that change.
This year, Giving Tuesday is on December 2nd.
Falling just after the rush of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the timing of this day is the perfect chance to reset and remember that the most meaningful gifts aren’t bought in the shops. The support, care, and hope we share with each other are much more important.
Why not use this day as a springboard to get involved in our work here at Children with Cancer Fund. We already have the most incredible team of supporters who make it possible to do the work we do. There are so many ways to support us, there’s bound to be something to fit you.
Fundraise
Would you like to challenge yourself and raise funds for CWCF at the same time? We love hearing all the wonderful and varied things people are doing to fundraise for us. We have had dance events, sponsored runs, abseils and wing walks to name just a few! Our supporters really do put the FUN into fundraising!
If hosting a fundraising event sounds like it might be for you, get in touch with our fundraising team at fundraising@childrenwithcancerfund.org.uk.
Volunteer
We are always keen to recruit new members to our remarkable team of volunteers, who are crucial in keeping our charity running. There are numerous volunteering opportunities available within Children with Cancer Fund, so if you have a few hours spare you’d like to use to help us then please do get in touch.
Donate
Any monetary donations we receive, whatever the amount, are greatly appreciated and help to support children with cancer and their families across East Sussex, Brighton and Hove.
We also accept donations of some items. Soft toys and unopened bottles are always useful for fundraising at our teddy tombolas and raffles.
Raise Awareness
We understand that times are hard at the moment, and everyone leads very busy lives, so you might not be able to fundraise, volunteer or donate. If this is you, you can still help us in a very crucial way by spreading awareness of Children with Cancer Fund, the work we do and of childhood cancer in general.
The more awareness we have, the bigger difference we can make.
Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of children with cancer in our local community.
