As we venture towards the switch-on of our FM transmission we at Hailsham FM are seeking enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join our team. We have positions in a wide range of areas including:
Presenters - both general and those with an interest in a particular genre especially (but not exclusively) the likes of rock 'n' roll, folk, classical, swing/big band
Studio Assistants/Runners - to assist the presenter with anything such as posting to social media, answering the phone and welcoming guests
News & sport - reading bulletins, reporting in the field and building rapports with authorities, clubs and organisations
Social media - helping construct posts for our Facebook page and Twitter feed, thinking of new and imaginative ways to use these and creating and developing new platforms on other sites such as Instagram, YouTube and others
Advertising - encouraging local businesses to join our portfolio and support the station's costs
There are positions in other departments available too. No experience is necessary and training will be given.
