The return to professional speedway at Arlington Stadium, the home of the Eastbourne Fineprint Eagles, has been widely welcomed by fans in the resort and the region.
Attendance for the first meeting topped 1,000; grew further for the second meeting and went over the 1,250 mark for the cup tie on Good Friday.
Now supporters are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Leicester Lions on Sunday, May 5.
The east Midlands club are the 'form' club of the Championship at the moment and will be looking to upset the Eagles unbeaten home start to the season.
Club director Ian Jordan is delighted with the response of supporters and promises that there is more to come from the new era Eagles.
A major promotional blitz is planned for May to further spread the message that speedway is back with a bang.
