Double Bubble Cup Action - Weekly Preview
2nd October 2014

A break from league action this week sees both our sides travel away in the cup.

First up, our MSFL team travel to Sporting Elite II. The two teams battled it out last week in the league with rangers winning the game by the narrowest of margins (2-1) with Joe Horton and an own goal enough to see rangers over the line. Elite are currently unbeaten at home this season though, so this is something that we simply must be wary about.

Our ESFL team make the daunting trip to Bognor in the Sussex County Cup to face West Sussex Football League South side, The Unicorn, The Unicorn are unbeaten this season with 3 league wins and a draw to show for their efforts as well as demolishing Harting reserves 7-1 in the cup at the start of September. Last week saw them hammer fellow league rivals “Chapel” 9-1 so rangers will have to be on their game to ensure they don’t have a waste of trip.

Good luck to both our sides, two very tough tests. Let’s hope for progress to the next round.
