Six years ago, Voices choir was in its infancy. Now, with over 100 members, they raise thousands for charities by raising their voices in song.

At their last concert, over £3000 was raised for four-year-old Malaya...the Granddaughter of local Firefighter Tony Rose. Malaya needs a life-changing operation, as she has Quad Cerebral Palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. The full sum needed for her operation (which cannot be carried out on the NHS) was £42,500. This sum has now been raised.

As well as donating to amazing causes twice a year, Voices have created a warm, friendly and supportive group which many refer to as “The Voices Family”. It is fair to say that at some rehearsals there is almost as much laughter as song!
As one member explained “it doesn’t matter how tough my day has been, after a Voices Choir session I feel good again, and there is a spring in my step.”

The choir is always open to new singers, who don’t need any previous experience - most members haven’t sung since their school days.

Voices are always ready to sing at weddings, birthdays, openings etc in return for a donation to their current charity. Hospices etc can also receive a visit from singers...we just ask that groups are no less than 15 in number.
