Truly fantastic food at Willingdon golf club. Fresh local ingredients cooked to perfection by the the knowledge team in the kitchen. Staff are so lovely and attentive!<br>Highly recommend the carvery on a Sunday too with veggie options on request.<br>Great for groups and events when you want fancy food but don't want to pay ridiculous prices. Will come back again and again.

A superb course in great condition that uses the natural terrain really well. I don’t know at what point in his career Dr. Mackenzie designed Willingdon, but he did a great job either way. I was fortunate to play on a weekday evening so I was able to appreciate the layout more as I played. I loved the quirkiness of the holes where you crossed other groups and the instructions were clear. I personally found the greens a bit slow, but I’m not sure if they were due a cut. Either way they were in really good condition, as were the bunkers and tee-boxes, etc. Willingdon is a very open course, each hole is laid out before you and as such it would suit both experienced players and beginners. The scenery is stunning and on more than one hole there are sea views. Definitely a play again course, favourite holes for me include the 1st, 4th, 13th & 14th.

Great winter golf, being on the Downs it's not muddy at all .<br>Course is in very good condition and being under the Downs for most holes protected from the wind. Warning though it is hilly and quite a climb up 11,12 and 13.

We have regular meetings at this venue and the staff are always very friendly and the food is always fab. Yesterday we had our Christmas meal there and it was super delicious with nice little extras added in too. Beautiful views are also an extra bonus for the non - golfers

What a great golf course. 18 fabulous holes. Weaves in and out of itself a fair bit so might be a tad slow on busy days but a small price to pay for such a fun course.

Hilly, and very attractive. A beautifully maintained course suitable for both the high and low handicapper. Lovely chalk turf underfoot, and large immaculate greens. A couple of par 3's well over 200 yards off the yellows. Very reasonable green fees (with County Card). Friendly and welcoming staff. We love it

Greens and the fairways were good and some challenging holes to play. The downside was too much crossing over fairways and having to wait your turn to play. Don't expect a quick round unless your out there on your own. Each round will take over 4hours to complete

I've enjoyed meals at the 19th Hole a couple of times in the last few weeks. We have been looked after very well and the food has been excellent, if Christmas is going to be restricted this year I can see us coming back here a few times.

First time for Sunday lunch since new people took over. I am always sceptical about eating a roast out but I was Impressed! I had the Vegetable Wellington which was really good. Everyone else in my party had turkey or beef, all looked amazing. Generous servings and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to my next visit!
