Very nice hotel with beautiful views to the sea! Everything was super clean and done in a very Covid-safe way. Staff and service were really hospitable and friendly and made me feel welcome. Would absolutely stay again!

The hotel is in a really good place by the beach and easy to get to from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful but seemed inexperienced. The main problem was the cost of the room for what you got. £165 for a triple room (double + single bed) not including breakfast. Room was tired and cramped and a bit grubby. In the bathroom, due to placement of the bath it was really hard to turn on the cold water for the mixer shower (although water wasn't that hot so you didn't need too much cold).
Breakfast was extra, £15, and was a full English. The option for vegetarians was to not put the meat bits on so it's was expensive.
If I had paid less I would be happier. It is a shame as it is a large hotel with lots of good communal areas and could be a vibrant boutique hotel by the beach, but it's still need a lot of work to get there.

Had a thoroughly nice weekend stay at West Rocks Hotel, very clean and tidy with lovely sea view room right opposite the beach and close to all amenities, Fantastic breakfast. We were looked after by Raf who went out of his way to make our stay highly enjoyable, we will be back

Great friendly staff, nice sea views but tired hotel in need of some TLC. good location but just NOT worth the money charged. during C-19 restrictions of travel I find it a shame that UK hotels like this one overcharge when they should be encouraging people to spend their money taking UK vacations at a reasonable cost. We Should have been in Spain at a 5 star spa hotel which was a lot cheaper per night and that is the competition that the UK holiday industry wants to win back.

Stayed here for Hubby's birthday, we had a ground floor room behind reception. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. The only problem we encountered on the first night was rattling windows which we soon fixed with a magazine.

Absolutely delightful! Stayed there for a Friday night out in Eastbourne and the hotel was perfectly good. Very nice and professional staff, clean rooms, nice linens, lovely beach views in the morning, not much sound from the main road between the hotel and the beach, and a nice bar to start the evening in! Definitely staying again.

Recently attended for my 3rd WLHH event and they just get better and better 😊 perfect venue with everything you need on site, so never even noticed the storm outside! Staff and guests are friendly, welcoming and do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and I couldn't enjoy it more... Clean, quiet and comfortable, the rooms are well equipped for your long or short term stay, with a nice shower in every room. The bar and lounge areas are cosy and inviting and the home cooked breakfast is just what you need to start your day off well 😁♥️

Our room was gorgeous with a stunning sea view, fluffy clean towels and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was hot and plentiful and most of the staff where warm and welcoming. 1 lady on reception was a little sneery and barely smiled, but hey ho, that did not dampen our stay one little bit. Can't wait to come back.

This is Forth time i have returned to West Rocks, each time it gets and better better. This visit the weather was probably the worst I've experienced in Eastbourne with the storm but that didn't dampen our experience at all. My fiancee and I enjoyed the home cooked tasty breakfast and were looked after by all the staff over the weekend we stopped there. I noticed there has been some refurbishment since my last visit and i can see the owners take pride in their hotel. Highly recommended

Have stayed here a few times, the hotel has been recently refurbished on the ground floor and is very welcoming. The staff go out of their way to help. Lots of parking on the sea front at £1.00 per 24 hours with permit from hotel

Great value at this perfectly positioned hotel with very friendly staff and recently refurbished public areas. Lovely breakfast and comfy bar area with great views over the sea. Ideal position for a trip to Eastbourne. Recommended!
