Very nice atmosphere. My lunch was brilliant, well presented and was a generous portion size. Overall I thought it was a very welcoming vintage cafe and I would definitely recommend and revisit.

Great experience for a first time , we went for a new year breakfast. Kids breakfast was brilliant as you could choose what you wanted, so no waste. Will go again.

If you are looking for a lovely place to be then the Skylark is perfect. A cafe during the day for that nice coffee/cake and a glass of wine then a great place to have an evening meal. Great food with really friendly service.

Ok, so I’ve seen too much Strictly come dancing recently. No seriously, second time here and love everything about it. The food is wonderful, staff ultra attentive and professional and prices just right for the quality. I’ve only been here in the evening so time to try the breakfast next. There is an excellent selection of food and drink and I’ll try to visit as often as possible. Keep up the good works folks.

Delicious espresso martinis to start, delicious potted crab starter, melt in the mouth steak with a wild garlic butter. Accompanied by a very good Nero D'avolo wine.

This is a local restaurant to us - we are so lucky!
We’ve been for breakfast last weekend & it was lovely. They adapted mine too when I asked. Staff are so friendly & nothing is too much bother. Also been in for evening dinner with friends & again it was relaxed with great food.
Would recommend to everyone!

Had an amazing birthday meal at Skylark with a lovely bottle of Malbec. We had camembert and pork belly to start followed by the rabbit ragu tagliatelle and the herb crusted cod. The food is brilliant and the restaurant has such a calm and relaxed atmosphere which Craig and Eri have achieved so well. Breakfast was delicious! Baked eggs with the ham and avo eggs both with tasty sourdough. Coffee is always a winner. Here’s to the next visit.
