Very nice atmosphere. My lunch was brilliant, well presented and was a generous portion size. Overall I thought it was a very welcoming vintage cafe and I would definitely recommend and revisit.

We had lunch at Skylark on Sunday on a grey, wet miserable day. However, the stylish interior and the ensuing excellent food and service soon cheered us up. I had the pork belly special, which was so tender and tasty and my partner had the risotto which he declared to be delicious. We both had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was heavenly. One of the best desserts we have had. We understand that Skylark has only recently opened and wish them all the very best. But with food as good as that we are sure that they will establish themselves very quickly.

This recently opened cafe and restaurant set in the heart of Little Chelsea is great find and a welcome addition to Grove Road Eastbourne.
The decor of the restaurant is simplistic in design but also a welcoming space. Skylark offers an excellent menu, great quality food and exceptional customer service. I had the Cajun Chicken burger and my lunch companion had the Risotto, both were beautifully presented and totally delicious.
Whether you are a visitor to Eastbourne or a local, this is a little gem of a restaurant is one that should be supported.
