Really friendly service. Food tastes good, cleanly cooked, coffee and hot chocolate were above average. Only lost a point for size of paid additions which left a feeling a being a little short changed.

The service was exemplary from the start, the menu was mostly locally sourced, the drinks were very good, the best focaccia I've ever had, the jackfruit tacos are just to die for and honestly it was a very lovely dining experience

Booked in advance before our holiday with no experience, absolutely wonderful! Great range of choice for both vegetarian and gluten free, knowledge of latter real good! So impressed booked to go back before we left!

The reviews are not wrong. This is an excellent restaurant. It just shows that if you keep the menu short and do what you do well then you are on to a winner.

A well formed dinner menu, skilfully prepared. The food was excellent, using local produce. Service was attentive in a cosy atmosphere.

bringing taste and freshness based on local produce all freshly prepared by excellent chefs , plus a wine list chosen with care - all these factors would be enough to put Skylark in the top rank of Eastbourne restaurants.But there's more. Erina and her team of welcoming staff have made our visits so pleasurable by their smiles and sheer attention to detail.
Brunch, lunch and dinner menus or just coffee or a glass of wine, sit in or out , have given Eastbourne a new restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere which we so enjoyed. All this has put Skylark in the top flight very rapidly. Chargrilled British asparagus, whole roasted local mackerel, dessert choices
with a difference, plus a bottle of Pays d'Oc d'Eglise made a delicious experience . Excellent value for money.Oh and there's more : sides include buttered marsh samphire,
Za'atar potato wedges with aioli, twice cooked dripping chips ......We'll be back.

Went with 2 friends for brunch. The coffee was excellent and the full breakfast and veggie breakfast were delicious. Cooked to perfection!

I went for brunch for a long awaited catch up with friends. The food was lovely, we really enjoyed it. We sat outside, the Court yard is quite small however very cute. Would definitely recommend
