Fantastic restaurant, been eating here for more years than I wish to remember, and never had a bad meal. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much. If you want to experience great Italian food, as you would in Italy, this is the place.

Wife and Daughter took me for my 50th Birthday, very positive welcome, sat us in the window, great service considering how busy they were ( especially as it was only a Wednesday), food is a little pricey, but well worth it. I have eaten a lot in Italy, and this was as close in authenticity as you can get in the UK, highly recommended.

What ever the occasion Pomodoro always come up trumps. They cater for all ages and the food is fresh and of a good quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful

My wife and I went to Pomodoro e Mozzarella on Sunday 2nd March in the early evening. We were greeted straight away and shown to a table right by the window. It was already quite busy and we were surprised how many family groups there were. We selected from the three course set menu, with my wife choosing the garlic mushrooms for starter, while I had the bruschetta. We didn't have to wait long and both were reasonably sized portions. While we were eating the restaurant got busier and I was half expecting to be rushed slightly to make room for more customers, but I needn't have worried. The mains were brought after a reasonable break and were just as good as the starters. Mushroom pizza for my wife (which nearly overhung the plate!) and breaded chicken with spaghetti for me. The desserts lived up to the quality of food we'd had so far (creme caramel and profiteroles) and completed the meal off nicely. Including a drink each the bill was only £30.50!! With the quality and quantity of the food, and the excellent customer service, I'd have no hesitation in returning here again.

We have been to Pommie a lot over the years. Always a pleasant experience but over the last couple of years it hasn't moved with the times. Same menu always but today went with the goats cheese to start for a change and at £7.00+ was very disappointing. Nothing special and for this price it needs to be. The gnocchi with tomatoes and gorgonzola was rather tasteless. It was all "OK" but not for a special night out.

Myself & boyfriend Went on Saturday 15th feb, was very busy, we didn't book but luckily enough we got seated straight away. Food was very nice, and good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food - I had the aubergine starter, sea bass in ginger and choc mousse - Mark had the lamb (beautiful) can't recommend highly enough - great staff - looking forward to returning.

two course from set menu 10.50, 3 courses 11.75. given prices in Eastbourne this is excellent quality for a bargain price. good range of starters, mains and desserts. Freshly cooked and the homemade minestrone soup is worth travelling for !

We've been here on each occasion we visit Eastbourne with our son. The food really is delicious and would highly recommend with family's...service is very quick and very friendly. Food authentic and delicious and the staff are very accommodating to big family's or parties...will defiantly continue to visit.

Some friends told us about Pomodoro when we wanted to try a new pre-theatre restaurant. The place is very large so we need not have booked. The decor is bright and the tables are fairly close together. The food was really good from a long menu and the service was excellent. It suited us as we were in a reasonable hurry to finish before the show started but we got through 3 courses just in time. The prawns in garlic, veal in white wine and panacotta were very good, as were the sea bass and creme caramel.

We have used Pomodoro e Mozzarella ever since it first opened in Eastbourne. As residents we use it regularly for a quick dinner after a shopping trip or for family events, birthdays etc. We have also used PM for business entertaining simply because it is absolutely reliable for service and quality of food throughout the menu. It has a typical Italian ambience buzzy and vibrant and above all else small children are welcomed in this establishment. Our tally of visits to Pomodoro must be in excess of 150 over the ca 12 years it has been open and we have never once had reason to complain. If you prefer something more intimate and quieter Pomodoro's sister restaurant La Locanda del Duca is just next door.

Staying a couple of nights in winter and needed somewhere warm and welcoming, bright and cheerful, as well as good comfort food. Picked Pom & Mozz from Trip Advisor recommendation and it hit all the requirements! Food was excellent and good value for the quality plus very friendly staff including owner dropping by for a chat. No winter out of season blues here as plenty of diners and good atmosphere mid week too.

NEW YEARS EVE A PARTY OF 10 , mostly 60 plus. Great food and excellent service especially as they were so busy.

Seven of us for an early evening meal on New Year's day. We went for the set menu (3 courses for less than £12) and each dish was outstanding.
The prawn cocktail was without doubt the best presentation we have seen anywhere - really clever and very tasty. Minestrone was excellent and everyone enjoyed their starters.I had spag bol for the main course - very good - and others had the sea bream or the lasagne, which got high praise indeed (looked like proper homemade lasagne). I thought the Margherita pizza looked a bit plain but apparently it was perfectly good.
A few of us had puds - all good - and the wine got a good report too (can't comment myself as I'm on a dry January!).One of the delights of the meal was the plate decoration - really artistic and more expected in a five star restaurant than on an inexpensive set course menu like ours. Outstanding!
