The castle is closed at present due to Covid but the gardens are well worth exploring. Has extensive grounds which can be explored but the rainy weather didn't encourage us to do that. Has a café which had quite a good menu. Only lost one star as we couldn't go in the castle. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful.

Absolutely gorgeous, a really relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful gardens. Would love to visit again when the house is open. We were greeted by a lovely lady, she had great knowledge of the history of the area.

Beautiful. Lovely garden. Just keep your eyes open for the peacock. Has a tendency to creep up on you and its LOUD.

Nice place with beautiful gardens. Well maintained. The walks in the woods are good as well. Could not do inside the castle, probably because of COVID. Overall, time well spent.

We took our 21 week old puppy to the castle. We were given a good welcome. Even though we could not go in the castle the grounds and gardens were stunning. Staff were very helpful.

A romantically, beautiful castle situated amongst woodland and a myriad of gardens.

Herstmonceux Place, a large 18th Century house is in the north west part of the park.

There are no guided tours at present only access to the grounds. It serves chiefly as a university campus, oddly, and venue for events.
